The holidays are just around the corner. I’m notorious for spending lots of time shopping early to get gift ideas but also known for doing last minute shopping. My last minute shopping is usually for the special men in my life, like my husband, dad and son. I just never really know what to get them. Every year I search for unique gifts to give them. I don’t like to give the same old, tired gifts of ties, cologne, or books. This year while doing my window shopping early I discovered exciting new gift ideas for him at Uncommon Goods.
This unique gift guide is brought to you by Uncommon Goods. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

While shopping for gifts for him I found so many interesting and unique items! A few years ago my father built a sun room from the patio. He and my mom like to sit out there and enjoy a cup or coffee in the morning or a few minutes of peace and quiet in the evening. One of the joys they have while sitting out there together is watching the birds visit the birdhouse and the butterflies the flower garden. He has mentioned how he would love to find a hummingbird feeder and I think I found the perfect one for them to enjoy.
Other fun choices included a meat and cheese tray (pictured above). You may not think that is any really big deal but while my dad enjoys college football, especially on New Year’s Day, he likes to share a meat and cheese snack tray with friends and family. This one above is perfect for serving up delicious snacks. I can add gourmet cheese, meats, crackers and spreads and he will have all he likes to enjoy during his down time. The Himalayan Salt is perfect for him to use when he is grilling and chilling in the backyard and the herb garden can be enjoyed with the grill as well as the sun room.
My dad is diabetic and needs to drink lots of water. The infused water pitcher will let him enjoy all the fruit, vegetable and herb infused waters he enjoyed when they visited. He can make it in the morning and enjoy it all day. Let’s not forget the grilling baskets, making kabobs in a snap on the grill.
Among the gifts for men I found this fun and easy way to save memories. My husband loves to travel and this ticket stub diary can help him easily relive each of the fun filled attractions we have visited from games, to concerts and a whole lot more. Other great gift ideas I’m excited about giving are the mini tool kit with easily interchangeable tools. My dad loves to rebuild cars and travel so I think he will be thrilled to get the best of both worlds in this gift of an upcycled tire tube travel toiletries bag.
