Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass is soon to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD. To celebrate my daughter is dressing as Alice for her Halloween costume – and to help remind mom to remember to pre-order the Blu-Ray so it arrives as soon as possible. We found out Alice in Wonderland costume on Oriental Trading Company and are so excited to wear it for Halloween. I think it’s going to get worn for more than that too – it’s so beautiful.

It’s a happy day for my youngest as her Halloween costume arrives. She’s so excited to be able to dress as Alice – from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. She was so enchanted with the movie when we had the wonderful experience of a screening prior to the release of the movie – and now being able to dress as Alice is a happy day!
Alice in Wonderland Costume
I am so impressed with the costume. The details are perfect. The dress comes with a pinafore to wear underneath the dress adds just the right amount of poof. The buttons are nicely sewn on and she loves the little gloves with glitter, black and blue.
What was really impressive was the beautiful embroidery along the hemline of the dress. It’s really lovely and just the right design. It really gets your attention.
My daughter normally doesn’t enjoy costumes as the polyester and nylon bothers her skin. It makes her feel all itchy and she rarely can enjoy it for too long. The dress is made of a smooth material, so the dress itself doesn’t itch her. The gloves are a tiny bit on the itchy side and she does need a tank underneath the see through top. The puffy sleeves aren’t too tight and the dress is perfect – but if your child doesn’t like an elastic band on their arm then it is important to make sure it’s a little on the big size so it doesn’t scratch or itch.
She loves the dress and once we put the curls in her hair she is going to feel so much like Alice in Wonderland. I love that she can express her personality and imagination through this costume which right now really is her favorite.
The costume is an official Disney costume and the beauty of it is really in the details. It was so easy to pick it out online and order it from Oriental Trading and free shipping is a great help. I was picking out Halloween party supplies too so I definitely make my shipping limit happen.
