My daughter read this book when it first became available. Once the movie came out she was so excited to see it! Unfortunately, our schedule just didn’t work out for us so I’ve promised her that we could see it on Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital. She reminded me after a very helpful commercial that it’s time to pre-order our copy of Wonder before it comes out this week. We can’t wait to read the book again and she LOVES to have discussions, comparing the book to the movie.
About the movie Wonder
Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local 5th grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.
