TGIF! TXU $50 VISA card giveaway

This post may have been compensated in goods, services, or monetarily, however all opinions are 100% my own. Disclosure Policy

This one is for my Texas readers!  Did you know that TXU Energy actually has a “rewards” program?

  • TXU Energy, is celebrating five years of giving our customers cash back through the TXU Energy Cash Back Loyalty Reward program.
  • Basically, participating customers earn up to 3% or more cash back on their annual electricity purchases, and they receive it via a Visa prepaid card, like the one available in this giveaway.
  • As of this year’s distribution, TXU has given more than $100 million back to our customers in cash back.
  • This year, alone, we have sent hundreds of thousands of customers a total of more than $36 million.

Here’s the question for Texas readers.

How much do families today use rewards (cash back, airline points, “dollars” earned at drug stores, etc.), coupons, or both to support their household budgets?

Here is your chance to win a $50 VISA card of your own. You do not have to be a TXU customer but you do have to be in the area that TXU provides.

1) Click here to take survey (10 entries when you complete this mandatory survey) then return to the rafflecopter form.

2)  Use the Rafflecopter form below to continue to get entries.

That’s it.  The contest ends on Feb. 24, 2012. How’s that for TGIF!  What would you do with $50?

If you would like a chance at winning $10K in extra cash, TXU has  launched a sweepstakes on Facebook to celebrate their 5-year, $100K milestone with the Cash Back Loyalty Reward program. It’s open to anyone 18 or older who’s living in a competitive electricity market and runs through March 31.

All you have to do to enter is:

  •  Go to the TXU Facebook Page
  •  Click on the “Cash Rewards” link
  •  Once you’re on the contest page, click “Like” and share how you would spend/use $10K in extra cash

My credit union offers points with their Visa card to be redeemable for merchandise. It comes in handy when buying presents for Christmas time.
