There are several ways you can save money this back to school season (and all the time) when purchasing clothing for your family. With a family of four children we have had a great deal of experience in this area so will share our tips and tricks for saving money on back to school clothing.
1.Read the dress code for your school before you shop for clothing. Take it to the store with you if you have too. It’s too frustrating as a parent to get a call in the middle of the day to learn that the design on your child’s t-shirt is “offensive” or unacceptable.
2.Clean out the old to make room for the new. In my case I am very lucky, what my 4 year old outgrows quite often fits my 3 year old. Not so much with my 14 year old. By cleaning out closets and drawers you know what you have and what you need.
