It’s the Fourth of July holiday and that means sales! I mean FIREWORKS! Yeah that’s what I mean. But not everything that sparkles is in the sky. I found some great sparkly summer fashion and fun at Elaine Turner during their annual 4th of July sale.
Arriving at the Elaine Turner store I was greeted by some fabulous, fun, fashionable people. Some of them worked at Elaine Turner and the others were friends joining me for the sales event. We were all so excited about the 35% off everything in the store and while the greeting was warm, it was the sale prices which really warmed our hearts.
Summer Shopping at Elaine Turner
I am always drawn to the display as soon as I walk in the door. I just know I’m going to find the latest fashions available at Elaine Turner as well as a little peek at what I can be looking forward to seeing in the fall. I appreciate that the staff at the store are so knowledgeable about not only the brand but about fashion and really listen to what appeals to you – then help you find it.
The blue bag is new and so are these adorable sandals. I was thrilled to learn that the bag comes with a “pouch” which turns into a handy, small carry purse or used to store your favorite things in. I don’t wear much makeup but I think I would end up storing my powder and lipstick in there because I hate digging around in my bag for them. I never seem to put them back where they belong.
So much sparkle! I have a weakness for three things – purses, shoes and earrings. This is the perfect time to check out some things I’ve had my eye one and now they are on sale. I admit the shoe wall was one of the most popular places in the store. I think almost all of use tried on at least two pairs – and more than one of us went home with some gorgeous sneaks, sandals or wedges.
I admit I’ve had my eye on a wallet in the store every since I shopped there in the spring. I needed one which would hold all my cards – not just credit cards and cash. I’ve got all those little frequent shopper things so I can get discounts or goodies and everything is in count them – THREE different wallets. None of which look so good when I take them out of my purse.
I did my share of ooh and ahhing over what my friends were looking at but the Mr. MoneySavingParent was getting hungry and there’s only so much time left in the day. My selections are made and I’m so excited to bring them home. I did get busted when I got home when my oldest daughter said, “Mom! That’s gorgeous where did you get that wallet?” I love her but no she can’t have it.
This was my favorite combination. Not only fun in the summer sun, but it will ease me into the fall. Here in Houston fall isn’t so cold and really the colors black, grey and orange can help ease me into letting go of summer without making this combination season specific wear.
If you haven’t visited Elaine Turner stores or online there’s more to it than just accessories. These tunic dresses are easily “bunched up” and tossed in a suitcase. Add leggings for colder days or as they are as a tunic dress. I love that you can pull them out of your suitcase and where them just about where ever you go.
I think that’s one of the things I like best about the brand. It’s beautiful and fashionable but allows me to express myself and do my own mixing and matching. Everything still looks well turned out – but not like it came straight off a mannequin.
