I admit that last week I was starting to have a case of the winter blues until I found out about the Love Suite Love giveaway hosted by Hotel Sorella and Elaine Turner. Wanting to get a sneak peek at what the winner would receive I headed over to the Elaine Turner store in City Centre where I was able to get up close and personal with all the beautiful handbags, purses, clutches, shoes and more which I looked at online. It’s so exciting to see what the winner will experience and to get a little pick me with the new spring collection.
This collection was the first thing to greet me, along with the smiling face of “Abby” when I walked into the store. This collection is part of the new spring line and honestly it was even more beautiful in person than it was online. I admit to having a weakness for the Champagne colored bags and they did not disappoint. Abby was so knowledgeable and helped me so much with learning about the different styles and colors and features available.
I like a little bling in my fashion, but I still wanted to see the bright colors of spring and summer which I enjoyed on the Elaine Turner website. They didn’t disappoint. But there were not only the bright colors, but again more “bling” and brightness of gold and champagne, the “IT” color of Blush, as well as striking black and white and several prints really caught my eye.

I love the space inside the handbags, but even more I really appreciate that she understands women don’t like to just throw everything in a bag and have it drop to the bottom. There’s some great compartments, perfect for your cell phone as well as zippered compartments. My daughter told me she liked the animal print better. It was really hard to decide especially with so many different styles to choose from. There are handbags, purses, cross bodies and one of my favorite (which I was so tempted to get) is a 3 – in 1. It’s actually a large size clutch, but has a the ability to also be a large size wristlet or a cute clutch with handle. I liked the flexibility of that design. It was also large enough to handle my Galaxy Note 5, which my former wristlet can’t do.
Here’s one item which I totally fell in love with. It looks like a wallet which would actually give me all the compartments I need. It’s cute enough to carry on its one and my cell phone even fit in there.
Everything comes together so well, so you can outfit yourself from head to toe – but it doesn’t have to be matchy matchy. Choose to either click or complement.

Elaine Turner Spring Shoes
I’m going to start with my favorites. I’m really not big on heels, though I should be since my daughter’s are rapidly approaching my height – and picking on me for being a “shortie.” But I’m more of a sandals and ballet slipper sort of girl. I also liked the sandals with the wedge heels. They are just right for a little bit of lift without making it difficult to walk, especially when you are going to be out and about at a park or making your way around amusement parks.
My favorite of this party of the collection were the slip on cork with the peek-a-boo toe. It is just enough to show off my pedicure.
So I’ve narrowed my choices down to these two. I love that they are dressy enough to look great, but also perfect for getting me all the way through the summer and summer travels. My iPad fits in there nicely along with everything else we moms need to carry.
Which one should it be? And the winner is . . .well ME!
