On the first day of Christmas my daughter read to me “12 Days of Christmas with The Carey’s.” How did we get a book and story made just for us? From I See Me, the creator of personalized children’s books. It has sort of become a tradition in our house, so this year I was thrilled that they now offer a Christmas book which features the whole family!
Disclosure: I received the product mentioned in order to make this review possible. All opinions expressed are 100% my own and my family’s.
Each of my daughter’s have a personalized book that was a Christmas present. Last year our youngest received “The Night Before Christmas” as her Christmas Eve present (one present opened on Christmas Eve from a family member. Mom gets to choose which box). We snuggled up with our hot chocolate, egg nog and popcorn to wait for Santa’s arrival. My oldest even has a Barney book which features her face and name (though if she knew I told anyone that we still have it she would probably find someway to get back at me).
This year I was checking out iseeme.com, a site which offers personalized children’s books. The 12 Days of Christmas offers the chance for the whole family to get into the story! Made just for our family, you can make one too for yours – or another family you know and love. It would make a great holiday gift.
But it’s not just for holidays. Get personalized winter books, first communion, Hanukkah, or even big brother or big sister books. There are some “just because” and many for those special occasions.
Our book arrived and it’s a sturdy hardbound book with thick, yet silky smooth pages to turn. Our name is featured on the cover and then the inner page. Each page features members of the family, even our new pup Toby got in on the action. My youngest loved the side binding, she said it reminded her of a candy cane. The other daughter loved the beautiful colors and interesting illustrations on each and every page.
The quality on this personalized book is amazing and I know we are going to enjoy the book for many years to come. It doesn’t matter how old you get, even my adult children will take a few minutes to enjoy their siblings childhood with an Christmas story – especially when their name is in it too!
