Have you made your plans for Mother’s Day yet? Montrose’s new neighborhood joint, Nobie’s, launches Sunday brunch on Sunday, May 14 from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, May 14. Chef Martin Stayer introduces a menu focused on fresh, local seasonal fare. To begin, choose from a selection house made pastries, including Colossal Cinnamon Rolls served in cast iron skillets. For main dishes, check out plates like Peanut Butter Banana French Toast drizzled with syrup; Veggies, Eggs,Grits, with asparagus, piccatta and poached eggs atop a foundation of grits ; Special Hash with crispy potatoes, peppers, cheese sauce, pork and two fried eggs; S.O.S., an avocado toast topped with your choice of crab and grapefruit or radish, local butter and caviar; and the Freakin’ Weekend Tower, a shareable bagel presentation served with a variety of schmears and toppings.
Also available are a selection of house-made cocktails like the Brunch Punch, a rotating fresh and fruity, spirit and wine based beverage; Maple Bacon Flip, with bourbon, house-made maple bacon syrup and whole egg; Boozy Joe, made with cold brew, white rum, cream and fernet for an added kick; and Cantarito, crafted with tequila, lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice, grapefruit soda and tajin. Other brunch offerings include staples like Mimosas (available by the glass or whole bottles of bubbles served with a carafe of fresh OJ); mescal, gin or tequila based Bloody Marys, served with “all of the pickled things” and a variety of other fun toppings; and Michaladas made with hot sauce, lime juice, beer and spicy salt with a mescal or tequila sidecar upon request.
Brunch is served Sundays, 11 am – 3 pm. Reservations available for Mother’s Day only.
