After having braces myself, and experiencing all sorts of problems with my older daughter’s dental health I admit I probably drive my children crazy about brushing their teeth and other healthy dental hygiene habits. But with them getting braces on their teeth it’s even more important than ever before that they keep up on all the routines that are needed to bright smiles. Thanks to Colgate “there’s an app for that!”

About Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures
Half a billion kids around the world have benefited from the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® oral health education program. It is among the most far-reaching, successful children’s oral health initiatives in the world, reaching children in 80 countries with free dental screenings and oral health education. Colgate’s commitment to building a lifetime of healthy habits provides children with burgeoning self-esteem and a foundation for success – that’s the Power of a Bright Smile.
In all, thanks to long-standing partnerships with governments, schools, and communities, Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® has reached more than half a billion children and is available in 30 languages.
Now Bright Smiles Bright Futures is offering a free, educational app: “My Bright Smile.” Designed for kids ages 4-6 even my 8 year old found fun in the five games, including “Visit the Dentist,” “Swipe the Sweets” and “Brush the Teeth.” There’s even a two-minute song that will help keep your kids brushing until every tooth is clean. That’s my 9 year old’s favorite, she appreciates having a timer to brush too.
What does mom like? One thing I really appreciate is that the “My Bright Smile” app does not store any personal information, and no data about its use is sent back to Colgate. While that’s important I also like that the My Bright Smile app covers some information that other apps don’t like visiting the dentist.
Tell your friends how they can pick up the FREE Bright Smiles app too!
