The Houston Auto Show has rapidly become one of our favorite family traditions to attend each year. It never fails to surprise us with the selection of new and classic cars, the inventiveness of improvements as well as family friendly activities to enjoy. I remember our first year there was pushing a stroller. The Houston Auto Show and our family has come a long way since then and this year I’m exciting to return once again.

Mecum Auto Auction
Pay to park one time, but attend both the Houston Auto Show and the Mecum Auto Auction. This year two amazing automobile events are available at one location. Mecum Auctions is the world’s largest collector-car auction company, will stage its sixth consecutive Mecum Houston collector-car auction April 6-8 at NRG Arena with an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, Corvettes, classics, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more to cross the auction block. This year’s event will be a true auto-enthusiast’s paradise with the Houston Auto Show setting up shop just across the parking lot at the NRG Center, April 5-9. Tickets to the Mecum Auto Auction are $20 in advance online, and $30 at the door and online once auction starts—per person, per day—or $60 for two days; children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission.
Walk over to the Auction or use the brand new complementary shuttle from the show to the auction.
