While most infant car seats come with that small canopy that helps somewhat with keeping the sun out of your baby’s car seat it just doesn’t provide the protection that a samll, cool, comfortable cotton canopy can. I noticed that on say colder days, rainy days or even while shopping and the car seat was in the car that I just needed a little something extra to keep them dry and comfortable. I also noticed that throwing a blanket over top was effective, but the it would slip off, I would worry about it falling on the baby and yes, I would even lose it.
This car seat canopy ties to the handles so you can easily turn it back, or turn back just one side of it so you can keep baby safe and sound, comfy, dry and uninterrupted sleep (don’t you hate it when people walk up and touch your baby?)
