Catch Phrase Decades
The Catch Phrase Decades game kept us all entertained for about 1.5 hours in the car. It really did! We made teams (of course our driver couldn’t call off or read the hints on the screen) but then we had a great time as we decided on which decade to play! The kids really enjoyed the 90’s but there are plenty to choose from:
- Electronic Catch Phrase game challenges you to guess words and phrases
- Timer keeps track and buzzes when you’re out of time
- Word and scores of each team appear in the display area
- Choose from 5 decades: the 70s, 80s, 90s, oughts, and 10s
- 5,000 words and phrases
I was surprised at how much we could all remember and at the funny hints we would give. The girls knew the word HASHTAG right of the bat, which means mom needs to reign in on the Twitter account a little bit maybe! The timer also really does make you want to hurry up and get that answer right, because there is no doubt that it counting down. It’s mom’s turn and I found out that SOMEONE who won’t be named on the blog was reading the answers over my shoulder!
The first team to get 7 answers wins. We of course had to start all over again after the sneaky one was discovered. These kids have been pulling pranks on me all week!
We had so much fun I want to go check out the other games like this like Simon, Taboo and Trivial Pursuit!
